Calls for research projects

In addition to its other missions, ANSES is in charge of coordinating and supporting research.

National Research Programme on Environmental and Occupational Health (PNR EST)
ANSES is in charge of running the National Research Programme for Environmental and Occupational Health (PNR EST), an essential resource for acquiring the knowledge necessary to assist the authorities and for health risk assessment. In this context, numerous calls for research projects are launched each year and financed by funds entrusted to ANSES by the Ministries of Ecology and Labour, in addition to the proceeds from the tax levied on radiofrequency transmitters and funds from partner entities.

In December 2016, the Île-de-France region accepted to fund the “One World, One Health Major Area of Interest” project for the benefit of a large consortium bringing together the institutions working in infectious disease research in Île-de-France: the three Associations of universities and higher education institutions (ComUE), the public institutes of a scientific or technological nature (EPST), four laboratories of excellence (Labex), various agencies, the Public Hospitals of Paris (AP-HP), industrial partners and holders of economic stakes. The1HEALTH DIM is managed by a steering committee in association with the Alfort National Veterinary School (ENVA), INSERM, ANSES, the CEA and INRA, and the scientific coordination is provided by ANSES’s Maisons-Alfort Laboratory for Animal Health. In this context, a call for projects has been launched to develop new concepts, including in the areas of vaccinology, anti-infective therapy, diagnostics and the integration of social and economic considerations in health.
