Organised by : DIM One Health & MNHN19/10/2018
Place : Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle, Grand Amphithéâtre, Paris, France
Public : Open to all
Topic : Animal health and nutrition
Dim One Health, in conjunction with the Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle (MNHN), is organising a symposium on the “One Health” concept as seen through the human and social sciences. This symposium will be an opportunity to bring up questions regarding the creation of the “One Health” notion, as well as the possibilities and injunctions that it implies. The discussion will cover four cross-cutting topics:
- “One health”? - Epistemology of a notion,
- Controversies in public health,
- Circulation of crises, pathogens and medicinal products
The workshop will end with a Round Table.
DIM One Health is a scientific project funded by the Ile-de-France region whose goal is to build a solid “One Health” infectious disease network, unique in France.
The event is free of charge and open to all, on a first-come first-served basis.
