Fish has valuable nutritional qualities, however, it is also contaminated by environmental pollutants.

ANSES has established an optimal frequency of fish consumption to meet the population's needs in terms of beneficial nutrients while ensuring food safety for the consumer. Through its close-up on "Eat fish: Why? How?", the Agency is providing practical advice to help consumers heed this recommendation.
