International ANSES scientific conference event on bee health

International scientific conference event on bee health

ANSES is organising the 5th Scientific Conferences cycle devoted to bee health on Thursday 8 December.  The event will be an opportunity to shed light on the health hazards for bees of emerging pathogens and co-exposure to plant protection products. The contribution of genomics to the field of beekeeping will also be discussed. This event will take place on the premises of the European Society of Cardiology.

During the event, ANSES will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Sophia Antipolis laboratory's reference activities

On Wednesday 7 December, ANSES's Sophie Antipolis laboratory will seize the occasion to celebrate 40 years of reference activity in the fields of bee health and Q fever.

Since 1976, several French, European and international reference mandates on bee health have been successively entrusted to the laboratory, as well as the national and World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) reference mandates for Q fever.

Therefore, on Wednesday 7 December, ANSES is very pleased to invite the major French and international players and partners from the beekeeping, agriculture, animal health and public health sectors for a visit of its Sophia Antipolis facilities and to share ideas on its 40 years of reference activity in bee health and Q fever.

The programme and online registration will be available in November
