Congrès international sur le One Health

International Congress on One Health

Following the inaugural edition in 2024, which brought together over 100 participants from 16 countries, the International Congress on One Health will be returning for a second edition, from 3 to 5 June 2026 in Saint-Quay-Portrieux (Côtes d’Armor). Intended for researchers, policy-makers and professionals in the fields of animal, human and environmental health, this congress will focus on translating the One Health concept into concrete action.

ANSES, Innôzh and Labocéa are jointly organising this congress. It will open with a keynote address by guest of honour Dr Baba Soumaré, Deputy Director General for Global Frameworks and Capacity Building at the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH).

Over the following three days, round-table discussions and presentation sessions will be devoted to the practical implementation of One Health. They will focus in particular on how this approach can be applied to improving the control of emerging and re-emerging infections in the context of global changes, and to supporting the development of integrated surveillance systems. The participants will also discuss the new tools that are available for collecting and cross-referencing the data required to implement the concept, as well as the contribution of the social sciences to the adoption of the One Health approach.
