Within the framework of the veterinary drug monitoring system implemented by ANSES has via the French Agency for Veterinary Medicinal Products, the Agency recently registered several cases of adverse reactions which could be linked to two products, one used for cattle, the other for cats and dogs.

They include:

  • the medicinal product CLOSAMECTIN POUR-ON SOLUTION POUR BOVINS
  • the anti-parasite collar SERESTO for dogs and cats

The Agency and the National Veterinary Drug Commission are therefore requesting that veterinary practitioners pay special attention to any possible new cases they may hear about, and encourage them to submit their declarations via the veterinary drug monitoring system.
