Two calls for research proposals to gain a better understanding of environmental and occupational health risks

Scientists wishing to contribute to calls are invited to send their letters of intent presenting their proposals:

• by 17 September 2026 for the general call for proposals (in French)
• by 1 October 2026 for the call on radiofrequencies and health (in French)

Preference will be given to proposals addressing research themes that have been identified as priorities in the light of major health and social issues for the general and working population. These themes include:

• chemicals such as endocrine disruptors, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and plant protection products,
• characterisation of the exposome,
• light pollution,
• micro- and nanoplastics,
• impacts of climate change,
• impacts due to loss of biodiversity,
• use of new technologies, including exposure to radiofrequencies,
• changes in lifestyle and work organisation. 

Multidisciplinary projects incorporating socio-economic aspects and holistic approaches will be particularly welcome.

This portal is being enhanced with new services, with the opening of a “My space” area and the integration of IRIS, the ANR platform used for previous calls. 

Further information and guidance on the submission process will soon be available on the portal. ANSES’s teams will remain at the disposal of applicants to assist them as needed.
