Capr’Inov International Goat Trade Show
NSES will present its work on goat health and welfare at the Capr’Inov exhibition in Niort on 26 and 27 November 2025.
ANSES’s scientists invite you to visit us at Stand L1 in Hall 3.
The main topics covered will be:
a presentation of the various subjects studied by the Ruminant Pathology and Welfare Unit at the ANSES Ploufragan-Plouzané-Niort laboratory: parasitism, paratuberculosis, influenza and animal welfare,
news on caprine arthritis encephalitis virus (CAEV): expression of the disease, results of the national survey, including a census of CAEV-free goat herds, and a reminder of the CAEV qualification criteria for goat herds,
Presentation of the SABRE Joint Technology Unit (Health and welfare of ruminants for sustainable ecosystems).
Two conferences are scheduled:
- Wednesday 26 November, from 4pm to 4:45pm: presentation of the PARADEXE project (description of exercise areas and overview of parasitism in non-grazing livestock farms), by Carine Paraud and Marianne Berthelot
- Thursday 27 November, from 3pm to 3:45pm: environmental enrichment for young goats, by Marianne Berthelot and Anissa Jahoui
