Our 2023 work programme

ANSES has defined its strategic orientations for 2023 in its five main areas of activity: food, animal health & welfare, environmental health, plant health and occupational health.

Chemical contaminants, animal diseases and zoonoses, resistance to antibiotics and to chemical products, multiple exposure, particularly in the workplace, interactions between pathogens, food safety, plant health... these are all topics on which ANSES is working to support public-policymaking and prepare for the risks of tomorrow.

In order to tackle the health and environmental challenges we face, it is more vital than ever to provide new scientific knowledge and benchmarks to act on the risks. This is why the Agency is committed to pursuing its research, expert appraisal and vigilance missions with the same level of excellence, independence and openness.

Whether at the national or European level, its ambition is to amplify its know-how and actions in order to put into practice the "One Health" concept, which is irrevocably necessary to address health risks in a holistic way that is consistent with the consequences of climate change.
